Friday, July 23, 2010—We are sad to report that two of our Kidz Docs physicians will need to be out of the office on extended medical leave starting immediately.

The Kidz Docs always puts our patients' needs first. We are working to enable our remaining physicians to continue seeing check-ups and sick children in the office with minimal interruption to our usual appointment schedules.

As a result, we have asked the hospitalist and neonatology staffs at both INOVA Fairfax and INOVA Alexandria hospitals to see and care for our patients.

We have every confidence in the very competent physicians who will be caring for our patients at the hospitals on a temporary basis, and we know that you will receive the best of care.

We are sorry for any inconvenience that this causes and look forward to seeing all of our patients after their discharge from the hospital.
